Teen Talk is a Youth Health Education Program. They provide services for youth from a harm reduction, prevention education perspective. They focus on sexuality, reproductive health, body image, substance use awareness, mental health, issues of diversity and anti-violence issues. Teen Talk provides youth with accurate, non-judgemental information to help make healthier decisions and choices.
Teen Talk works across Manitoba. They acknowledge that Indigenous peoples have had a relationship to the land we now call Manitoba since time immemorial, specifically the Ininiw (Cree), Anishinaabe (Ojibway), Island Lake Aniciniiw (Oji-Cree), Nakota (Assiniboine), Dakota, and Sayisi Dene peoples. We are in the heart of the Métis nation. Their office is located in Winnipeg, which is on Treaty 1 territory, and our program works across the territories of Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10.
